We are currently offering one Sake course , the WSET ® Level One Award in Sake.
Normally run on a Saturday or Sunday from 09h.00 to 17h.00, this course concludes with a 30 question multiple-choice test.
COURSE CONTENT
For individuals new to the subject, this qualification offers a hands-on introduction to the world of Sake. You’ll explore the main styles and types of Sake through sight, smell and taste to develop an understanding of the key factors affecting flavours and aromas.

The main types and styles of Sake;
How to serve Sake;
Key factors affecting the flavour of Sake;
How to describe Sake using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Sake ® (SAT)
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The only prerequisite for enrolment on this course is enthusiasm for the subject. No previous knowledge or experience is required, although some formal wine and/or spirit tasting experience would be helpful.
WHAT SHOULD YOU GET OUT OF THE COURSES?
By the end of this course, you should have an in-depth knowledge of how the different styles of Sake are produced. You will also have developed your proficiency as a taster significantly.
