We’re finally seeing more of Portugal’s wonderful wines here in the UK, so a virtual visit to some of its lesser-known regions is timely. Portugal has no shortage of talented winemakers who often work in different regions and sometimes produce bespoke wines for retailers like Majestic. Our focus will be on Vinho Verde, Beira and the Dão Valley – known to the Portuguese for age worthy reds and fine whites from the Encruzado grape.
