Nowhere else in the world is Sangiovese capable of so many expressions within so small a region as in Tuscany.
Our tasting explores the history of this great variety in Chianti Classico including its newly approved Crus, as well as in Vino Nobile di Montepulciano , Brunello di Montalcino and the Maremma.
Much has changed since the days of straw covered fiaschi in dubiously “genuine” trattorias and these days the quality of Sangiovese has never been better.
