Wines from the cool, Celtic, north-western corner of the Iberian Peninsula, or ‘Green Spain’, as it is often called.  Galicia’s Rias Baixas, Ribeiro, Ribera Sacra, Monterrei and Valdeorras wine regions and the adjacent Bierzo (administratively part of Castilla y Leon) produce crisp and complex whites from Albariño , Godello and Treixadura and juicy reds from Mencia.  And to complete your enjoyment…..a selection of cold tapas.
